Although there was never a day when JiHoon wished he could have done things differently when they were in Macau, but he knew he had hurt Eun Hye so much with what he did.

Every time he remembers how Eun Hye cried sadly when he left her at the airport, he thought his heart would explode…

She never tried to communicate with JiHoon after that, when JiHoon left for England he changed practically everything he was accustomed to when he was in Seoul…

He focused more with school, learning the English language to perfection… and sometimes, when he sees other female Korean students in London, he would smile to himself and remembers Eun Hye.

After a year, while busy preparing for his school thesis, his manager Won Jong Kim called him and told him that he will be attending the MBS Awards Night with Eun Hye for both of them are nominated for an award…

He remembered vividly when he saw Eun Hye again, the atmosphere was so awkward… she had grown more beautiful, her smell had change too… from the Gucci cologne he had grown to love to a refreshingly new scent that surely exudes her new found beauty.

For the first few minutes, both of them were speechless… when they accepted the award for best new artist, both of them didn’t forget to mention each other’s names, and during the after party photo op, they were both in their best smiles.

Although they barely spoke that night, it was so clear to him how much he had missed Eun Hye, their everyday chat on the phone just talking anything under the sun…and how he would steal any chance to take a photo of her sleeping.

The only word they ever said to each other without the scrutinizing eyes of the media was "It’s great to see you" and sounded like half-meant…

JiHoon went back to London the next day, he didn’t try to contact Eun Hye again, he’s afraid that this time if he’ll ask her…she would really reject him and mean it.

His thoughts were distracted when he heard his mobile phone ringing… and he saw it was Rain calling him…

"Hello"

"Hey… I’m going back now to Korea. Do you want me to pass along a message to someone?" asked Rain

"What? Shut up Rain" sounded pissed

"Alright man, I’m just telling you…"

"Whatever man, have a safe flight…give my regards to Hye Kyo"

"You too JiHoon… if you get to see her, give my regards too" sounded so childish…

"Yah! What are you talking about…shut up man, I’m hanging up now!"

"Arasso JiHoon… Bye…. see you when I see you."

Moments later… his mobile kept ringing again.

"What the f**k Rain, I told you I’m hanging up…" JiHoon said and sounded really pissed…

"Who? This is me, Charlotte…why are you so angry early in the morning…" she asked rather curiously…

"Charlotte Fraser? I’m sorry, Rain was bugging me" he told her immediately…

"Yeah the same… Oh it’s alright…"

"How did you get my number?" JiHoon finally asked

"Honey, I can get anyone’s number. I’m friends with the US President." she said on a matter of fact tone…

(Laughing) "Oh, that’s good to know…"

"Anyway, the reason why I called… is because I wanted to ask if you already decided about my offer as a future LK Ambassador?"

JiHoon replied instantly… "Of course"

"Well then, I want you to fly to Paris today, I will send my driver to pick you up in an hour, will take you JFK, then you will be flying via the LK plane and I’ll meet you at the Ritz Hotel for the contract signing." she told JiHoon

"What? Oh okay. Where are you calling from?"

"I’m calling from Berlin… okay, I need to go now… see you there… bye"

She hangs up…

JiHoon went straight to his room to pack light… whatever he forgets to bring, he can sure buy it from Paris. An hour later, the LK Centre chauffeur came and assisted him with his bag. And they were off to JFK Airport.

The trip to Paris was a breeze, it wasn’t his first time to fly on a private plane, and he wondered around the small plane thinking about what Eun Hye would say about it…

Darn!!! He said to himself! I should learn to stop thinking about her.

A few hours later, they landed at the Charles de Guile International Airport in Paris; he was greeted by an American driver whom was wearing a posh black suit with a banner that is written in simple Korean language… “TO THE NEWEST LK STORE AMBASSADOR, PRINCE SHIN GOON!”… upon seeing this, JiHoon laughed, he was thinking that Charlotte has a good sense of humor.

They drove through the busy streets of Paris, and they were able to pass by the LK Centre Paris store… the driver pointed it out to him…

"Sir, look on to your right… that’s the first LK store in the world…"

JiHoon looked over the window and saw a baroque inspired building where photos of the Casiraghi siblings (the French LK Ambassadors) adorned every window of the store.

"Have you met any of the other LK models?" JiHoon asked the chauffeur

"Oh yes sir, I’m the only one whose allowed to pick those celebrities at the airport…I’ve been working for the Frasers since Charlotte and her sister were still in high school" he boasted at JiHoon

"Wow…cool" he smiled at him and continued to listen on his iPod…

Minutes later, they stopped in front of the glitzy Hotel Ritz de Paris; the hotel has been long favored by the Fraser sisters. When JiHoon stepped out, the Hotel Manager welcomed him immediately…

"Mr. Joo Ji Hoon, good afternoon sir and welcome to Hotel Ritz de Paris, I’m Martin de Borno, Hotel Manager, I would be personally attending to your needs as instructed by Lady Charlotte and her sister Lady Katherine." he extended a hand to JiHoon while handing him his business card too

"Oh thank you, by the way sir, is Charlotte here already?"

Mr. de Borno immediately looked at JiHoon as to how casually he addressed Lady Charlotte… "Oh no sir, not yet. But she has given me instructions to take you to your room and that once you are settled, we would direct you to where the meeting will take place"

"Oh okay, thank you"

JiHoon went straight to his room, and upon seeing it…his jaw dropped… it has the perfect view of the Eiffel tower and the entire city. So this is how the rich lives, he thought to himself. After 30 minutes, he set on his way to meet people from the LK Centre.

When he entered the room, there’s 5 people; Charlotte was sitting in a sofa together with a man whom she introduced as the GM for LK Centre Paris… Mr. Peter Mansart, his manager Jong, Mr. Timothy Fitzgerald, LK Centre Head Legal Counsel and a Korean translator.

"JiHoon, no jet lag I hope?" Charlotte asked

"No, I’m sorry I was late, I fell asleep" he looked around and saw Jong rubbing his forehead with what he just said…

Charlotte smiled at JiHoon and patted him on the shoulder, assuring him… "No biggies, I just got here myself. By the way, I forgot to mention to you that… "

(Before she could tell JiHoon everything, the door opened and Eun Hye entered with her manager)

JiHoon looked at Eun Hye intently, as if he was dreaming again… they looked at each other for a few seconds when…

(Charlotte made a sound as if she was clearing her throat…) "Ahem… as I was saying, I forgot to tell you, Eun Hye will be in the meeting too."

(Lady Charlotte welcomed Eun Hye, and introduced her to everyone. At this time, Lady Charlotte noticed that JiHoon was still looking at Eun Hye.)

“Eun Hye, couldn’t wake you up… you sleep like a baby… Anyway, I left early coz I think if the staff and PDC finds me there…we would probably walk back to Korea… See you on the set later…”

Eun Hye smiled and took the post it note, and kissed it… then she took out her wallet and
placed the note inside.

On the set, they were playful once more. JiHoon keeps making jokes on Eun Hye, and Eun Hye keeps on shouting at PDC to make him stop. Most of the staff was happy that the issue between Eun Hye and JiHoon were resolve, considering they are filming the last part of the drama.

When it was finished, JiHoon asked PDC if he and Eun Hye can go out before heading back to Seoul.

"PDC, I don’t know if this is too much too ask, do you think you can be able to re-arrange our flight schedule so we can go on a later flight?" asked JiHoon…

"Who? You and Eun Hye? Sure… what time? Do you guys want to look around too like some of the staff?" he replied

"Some of the staff is staying behind? Really? Well, there’s this place Eun Hye and I saw in a tourist book and it’s about 2 hours from here. " he said while taking out the book he was referring to and showed to PDC…

"Sure, no problem. I’ll arrange for you to leave on a 9PM flight. Is this alright?"

(Smiling) "That’s perfect. Thanks a lot PDC" said JiHoon

(Extending a hand to JiHoon, calling for his attention) "Yah! Are you still going back to England tomorrow?"

"Yes I am" he suddenly fell silent

"What about Eun Hye? Did you already asked her out?" PDC looked at JiHoon’s facial expression

"Yes."

"And?" (Looking curiously at his expression)

JiHoon looked straight at PDC and said "She said no."

(Surprised) "What? I thought, you already worked your charms on her?" now PDC sounded even more confused.

(Smiling) "Nah, she worked her charms on me… I think she is still waiting for him."

"Him? That guy who went to serve the military?" asked PDC

JiHoon replied "Yes. The same one."

(Patting him on the back) "For what is worth JiHoon, I’ve never seen her smile the way she does when she is with you. And for any guy to make a woman smile like that…that must mean something." PDC told JiHoon as if trying to give him an assurance to hold on…

(Looking at him) "I know, and it hurts me. Coz, no matter what I do, I can’t seem to make her forget him."

"This takes time boy, you need to be patient. I know Eun Hye; she has her own pace… " said PDC while looking at some of the script that needed revisions for his next soap opera.

"Well, I hope you’re right about that."

When JiHoon was walking towards his hotel room, he was thinking so much about what PDC said about him able to make Eun Hye smile so much. He was smiling to himself again, as if it was enough assurance to ask Eun Hye out. He went to her room hoping to surprise her, but it was him who got a surprise…

"Eun Hye… guess what" he stopped dead on his track….

"JiHoon" she called out his name instantly…

The man beside Eun Hye, whom she was talking to at the edge of her bed, was KJK… he’s back from the military, and obviously the person he wanted to see first is Eun Hye.

" Ummmm…. JiHoon, I wanted you to meet…. Kim Jong Koon… he’s…"

Before Eun Hye could finish what she was about to say, JiHoon went straight towards where KJK was sitting and extended a hand to him…

"Yes. He’s the guy she always tells me about…" looking at KJK

(KJK’s face went beaming and looked at Eun Hye) "It’s nice to know I’m being talked about…" giving a wink at Eun Hye…"I thought she has forgotten all about me…"

"No" JiHoon replied, looking at Eun Hye as if waiting for a cue to make her say something… but to his absolute dismay, she never uttered a word…

"She has not forgotten about you" JiHoon told KJK, and upon hearing this, Eun Hye just looked at JiHoon sadly…

There was an intense 10 second silence, till JiHoon broke it by saying "Well, I should go… I just wanted to check on Eun Hye and wanted to tell her about the flight schedule. So I would leave you two alone to catch up"

Before Eun Hye could say anything, JiHoon had already left the room

"Well, he turned out to be nice…" said KJK… "Some of my friends said he was a bit arrogant, but I didn’t see that at all…"

"Umm…" (Not paying attention to what he said) "did he say what time was the schedule?" Eun Hye asked him

"No… I don’t think he mentioned it."

"Do you mind? I should just go ask him… " said Eun Hye

"Sure no problem… I need to eat something too, so I’ll meet you downstairs." KJK casually told her as he heads out to the hotel lobby

Eun Hye hurriedly went to JiHoon’s room to explain… when she got there… JiHoon’s bags were gone… he’s gone… She called his mobile, it was turned off. She then called PDC…

"PDC, have you seen JiHoon, he’s not answering his phone?" Eun Hye asked the director nervously…

(Sounding sad) "Oh Eun Hye, he said he’s taking a flight back to Seoul now."

"Now??? as in now??? where….why?" Eun Hye frantically asked PDC

"He didn’t say. By the way, did you know he’s going back to England…" asked PDC, and when she heard it, Eun Hye fell silent

"What?"

"I guess, that’s the reason why he wanted to change your flight schedule, so he can spend time with you before he leaves. I don’t know why he suddenly had a change of heart. Anyway, if you hurry, you can still see him off."

"Yes. Right. Thank you."

Eun Hye was walking hurriedly to the front desk to arrange a vehicle to take her to the airport, the Hotel Manager signaled to the hotel chauffeur to immediately get the car.

Eun Hye couldn’t think straight… she was fidgeting the whole time, and kept on trying to call JiHoon’s mobile…but still no luck.

At the airport, she looked for JiHoon, calling out his name… and when she asked for the gate going to Seoul…the airport staff took her there. She didn’t care at all, if people would recognize her, and that she’s going frantic looking for her co-star….

And when she was about to give up, she saw a familiar tall lanky guy, sitting alone far from the gates… head down, listening to his iPod… she slowly walked to him.

"JiHoon…." shouted Eun Hye

Surprised at seeing Eun Hye at the airport… he can only asked … "What are you doing here?"

"I need to tell you something…" still catching her breath…

"No don’t"

"Please…just listen to me…" she pleaded…

"He’s back and I need to leave now…" not looking at Eun Hye

Frustrated…she just stood there… and asked JiHoon… "Why do you keep pushing me away?" her tears was already flowing freely

"Because" (looking at Eun Hye crying)

"Please Eun Hye, this is me giving you time to think" wiping a tear from her face.

"Think about what?" she asked

"If he’s the one you want or me" JiHoon replied

"But I want you…" Eun Hye said while she continued to cry over what’s happening between them

"You want me… really? Then why couldn’t you speak out then at your room. Why didn’t you stop me from telling him you have never forgotten him?" JiHoon walked away from Eun Hye, trying his best not to let her see how hurt he is…

"I….I don’t know…"

(Hearing the boarding call to Seoul, JiHoon took his bag and started walking towards the gate)… "I should leave"

Then he stopped walking and looked back at Eun Hye…

"You know why I came to your room…"

"Yes. PDC told me, I called him looking for you…"

"After I talked to him, I said to myself… if what he said… me making you smile so much, it means that I am doing something right…right? (Speaking softly) when he said that, it gave me courage to tell you… that I really like you. So much that I am willing to put my studies on hold, just to be with you.

And then I saw him… and I saw the smile on your face when you looked at him.

I said to myself… that’s a new smile… I can’t make her smile like that"

(Placing a hand on JiHoon’s shoulder, speaking softly too) "JiHoon…please don’t do this…"

(He took off her hand) "I need to go."

(He suddenly took her face to his hands) "I will miss you the most, thank you for the longest five days of my life"

Then he kissed her softly on the lips, Eun Hye couldn’t hide her tears anymore… JiHoon wiped them slowly……

Eun Hye saw JiHoon off, and during the ride back to the hotel, she was crying the whole time and even forgot that KJK is waiting for him in the restaurant.

(Mobile phone ringing)

"Hello" answered Eun Hye on a sad note

"Hey, where are you, I’ve been waiting like crazy." said KJK

"Sorry, the director called us and he wanted to talk to me." she lied

"Oh okay…are you at your room now?" he asked

"Yes."

"Would you want me to bring you something from the restaurant?"

"No. I’m okay. I just need to sleep."

"Oh…okay… I’ll see you later then." KJK replied…

"Okay…" she said to him, as she placed the reciever down

For the first time, Eun Hye just let herself cry… she didn’t know why she couldn’t just tell him that she feels the same way too… that she loves him, that she makes him smile too, that he gives her comfort, that he takes away her pain just by asking her if she’s okay.

The same day, Eun Hye left for Seoul with PDC and the rest of the staff of Goong… not even bothering to tell KJK that she is leaving.

(Back in Seoul)

JiHoon took one last look at his apartment before going to the airport. He looked at the picture that adorned his bedside table, a picture of Eun Hye and him at Jeju Island… then he closed the door.

(Flashback: The day before they left for Macau)

"Guys, we’re heading for Macau tomorrow. I want everyone to be at the airport at around 6AM. JiHoon, Eun Hye your plane leaves at 8AM." shouted PDC…

JiHoon looking confused, started walking towards to where PDC was standing…

"What do you mean 8AM? Eun Hye and I are not joining you?" asked Jihoon

"No" answered PDC "the staff and I needs to be there early…"he said to JiHoon giving him a smile at the same time…

"Okay. I’ll see you at the airport then JiHoon." it was Eun Hye who answered PDC, looking away from JiHoon, trying not to show how pissed she is right now…

(Pretending to do something on his iPod) "Oh… yeah. See you." JiHoon replied at Eun Hye…

The next day, at the airport…

"Mom, don’t worry, I’ll be fine. This is not the first time I’m going away." Eun Hye kept on telling her mom, who seems to be so worried…

"I know why I can’t be worried. It’s a good thing, JiHoon is there… Anyway, where is he?" her mom asked Eun Hye, while she was looking around the airport…

"He’ll be here. (Pointing to her mom) See… there he is." Eun Hye told her mom while watching JiHoon steps out of his car

"Yeah. You’re right! He’s so handsome, even early in the morning. Alright, you go ahead. I will just have a word with him." Mrs. Yoon told her daughter, flashing a smile upon seeing JiHoon…

When JiHoon spotted Mrs. Yoon and Eun Hye, he immediately gave respect to Eun Hye’s mom…

"How do you do Mrs. Yoon" he asked, while smiling at her

"Quite nervous and alright at the same time, this is the first time I am letting Eun Hye go to a foreign country without me." said Mrs. Yoon

"Don’t worry; it’s only for 5 days. I will keep an eye on her." said JiHoon trying to assure Mrs. Yoon…

"Yes, that’s what Eun Hye told me too… that you would keep an eye on her like a big brother" told Mrs. Yoon while giving JiHoon a smile…

"I’m sorry? What?" pretending to not hear what Eun Hye’s mom just said… "Oh yeah, like a big brother…" said JiHoon with a devilish grin on his mouth.

(Laughing) "Yes. So, I will leave her under your care okay JiHoon" said Mrs. Yoon while leading JiHoon to where Eun Hye was sitting.

Upon seeing her mom and JiHoon smiling at each other, Eun Hye stopped being mad at JiHoon… and told herself that no woman is crazy enough not to be smitten by his natural good looks…

JiHoon glanced at where Eun Hye was sitting, and saw her smile silly to herself, and that view brought smile to his lips too…

"Thank you for your trust, Mrs. Yoon…" he said, while taking Eun Hye’s luggage… "I’ll take this to the counter, better say goodbye to your mom" said JiHoon…

"Bye mom…see you in 5 days!" Eun Hye said and hugged her mother lightly….

Inside the plane, JiHoon was seated right next to Eun Hye, who was already reading a book.

"You’re mother is really a nice woman…" said JiHoon the moment he took a seat next to her…

"Yes. She is" she answered

"Eun Hye" JiHoon spoke

"Yes…" still not looking at JiHoon and continued reading her book

(suddenly grabbing her hand, Eun Hye looked at him with shocked) "your mother said that you treat me like a big brother… so; I’m in the same level with him now?" JiHoon asked her

"What?" she was still caught surprise with him grabbing her hand… (She immediately took of her hand…)

"Forget it, I’m going to sleep" JiHoon turned around so that his back was facing Eun Hye…

Throughout the flight, JiHoon slept… and at one point, he said her name so faintly that she might have just imagined it. But while sleeping, she took out her camera and took photos of him like she used to.

"He really is handsome… I bet girls would be envious of me if he was my boyfriend… I’d be happy to take him anywhere…he’s a well-mannered guy, fun and really makes me laugh. (Shaking her head off…)

What am I thinking?" Eun Hye told herself…

JiHoon woke up, and Eun Hye was sleeping… looking uncomfortable even if they were in a first class trip… He took one of his pillows and placed it gently under her head…

"JiHoon…" she said her name slowly like as if she was still in a dream…

"Yes?" (Looking at Eun Hye’s sleepy eyes…)

"Thank you" then she went back to sleep…

(Flashing yet another of his dreamy smile) "it’s nothing"

When they landed in Macau, Eun Hye noticed that JiHoon is very attentive to her again, like he was before he asked her out on a date. And she likes the fact that they are talking again…

On their 3rd day in Macau, she and JiHoon went around town in a blue Vespa that he borrowed from one of the Macau cast. They went to various tourist destinations, and even viewed a few cottages that were up for sale in one of the nearby provinces.

When they headed back to the hotel, suddenly, Eun Hye wasn’t feeling too well. She got nauseated from the trip, and asked if he can stay till she gets to sleep. Coz she knows that she will be restless and might not be able to sleep. JiHoon at first detested the idea, but later give in to her request.

"Yah…thanks again for staying…" said Eun Hye

"Don’t worry about it…" answered JiHoon… "You better go to sleep now…" he was about to turn around but found Eun Hye walking towards her room…

JiHoon was at the living room when he suddenly heard a loud noise coming from Eun Hye’s room… he rushed towards her room, and saw Eun Hye lying on the floor.

"Eun Hye!!!! Oh my god!!! What happened!" JiHoon instantly carried her to her bed…

"I don’t know…I fell…oh JiHoon, my feet hurts…" cried Eun Hye

JiHoon rushed towards the kitchen and took some ice from the fridge…

"Here put this…this might hurt a bit, but you have to bear it…" he told Eun Hye, while he looked at her face and her feet if there was any bruises…

"Thank you… " (And like a crazy fool…she started to sniff, and moments later, she was crying)

"Hey, you don’t need to cry… It’s just ice…is it that cold?" asked JiHoon…

"It’s not about that…" said Eun Hye…her head bent down, facing towards the floor…

"What is it then…" (Taking her face to his hand… trying to see her reaction)

(She couldn’t look at JiHoon)… she kept facing down…

"Eun Hye, please tell me whats wrong" said JiHoon…

And when JiHoon took another look at Eun Hye’s face, it was all red… and she was crying. As he wiped away her tears, JiHoon couldn’t take his eyes off her red lips, and like a dream, feeling intoxicated with her lips, he gently kissed her. As if she was being assured that he can take the pain away…

And like a dream, he suddenly snapped back to reality.

"I’m sorry Eun Hye; I don’t know what came over me." said JiHoon…instantly trying to look if he had hurt Eun Hye…

"Please don’t be sorry… " Eun Hye replied….

"Don’t worry; I won’t let it happen again."… JiHoon told Eun Hye…

Eun Hye couldn’t say a word… and even though that the kiss caught her by surprise, she really like the feel of his lips on hers… and his kiss was so gentle she could almost cry…

When JiHoon, was about to leave the room… Eun Hye called on to him…

"JiHoon…I know I might be asking too much, but can you stay here till I can sleep. If I would fall another time; I might break my bones for real." Eun Hye said nervously, praying that he’ll say yes….

Hesistantly at first, but he still answered…"Sure…no problem."

JiHoon sat at the side of her bed, reading a book… By 2am, Eun Hye finally slept soundly… and JiHoon also already became too sleepy… he started to lie next to Eun Hye…

"Just for a couple of minutes (talking to himself), I need to rest my back."

JiHoon was lying next to Eun Hye, when Eun Hye moved around and placed her hands over him. He was a bit shocked, but then… he was thinking, Eun Hye is here right next to me, and her hands are holding me now… I can sleep peacefully…

Before JiHoon placed the book on his side table, he leaned over Eun Hye and kissed her sweetly on the lips…

"Eun Hye… I really do love you… and I’ll miss you the most when I leave." looking at Eun Hye while she sleeps…

(Moments later, she gently opened her eyes and looked at JiHoon, he’s sleeping soundly…and she thought that how can it be possible for one person to still look so refreshingly handsome even in his sleep)

"JiHoon…" she spoke softly…

"JiHoon… I… I don’t want you to go…"

…. "I’m saying yes…. I’m saying yes to our dinner now…"

…. "and…. "

…. "I love you too…" as she gently placed her hand to his… and kissed it…

and she went back to sleep….

Meanwhile, back in New York…

JiHoon seemed to be in deep thought when Carl threw a french fries on him…

"Earth to JiHoon!!! Yah!!!" looking at him intently, wondering what was he thinking…

"What the hell!!!" JiHoon angrily looks at Carl and took off the french fries he threw at him… he stands up and started walking towards the door… "I’m going out for coffee, do you want anything?" asking Carl

"Nope…thanks. I’m meeting Lauren later" without looking at Jihoon, Carl continued watching TV.

(Lauren is Carl’s girlfriend for 3 years now, they met in a fashion show where JiHoon modeled for Dolce and Gabbana)

"Okay…lock the doors when you leave" JiHoon told Carl as he left his apartment.

JiHoon was supposed to go to Dean and Delluca for a cup of coffee when he saw a familiar face in the window of Starbucks… he turned around and knocked over the window and smiled at the person…

As he steps inside Starbucks, he playfully shouted at his friend…

"Yah! Jeong JiHoon, what are you doing here?" smiling at him and giving him a brotherly hug

"Hey, Joo JiHoon, I thought you’re in Korea? Didn’t I just saw you there?"

But before he could ask another question, Jihoon spoke… " I should ask you the same question, is Hye Kyo in New York?" giving Rain a devilish smile…

"Shut up!!!" Rain smiling back at JiHoon while drinking his tall mochafrapuccino…

"Seriously man, I am stunned to see you here. I thought you were in Vietnam" taking a bite of Rain’s doughnut… "Hmm…this is good…hold that thought, I’ll just get something to eat" JiHoon stood up and went over the counter to order doughnut and a venti caramel macchiato.

When he get back to their table, he asked the same question, while Rain was pretending to be busy looking at his O2 phone.

"I’m here to meet my new boss…" he told JiHoon while still reading emails on his phone. "And Hye Kyo is not here, she’s in Seoul"

"Oh okay, you mean, you are starting a new contract?" Jihoon asked before taking another bite of his doughnut…

"Yeah, something like that. Hey man, since you’ve been in the modeling business longer than I did…have you heard of LK Centre?" looking over at JiHoon while he’s busy munching his food and reading the newspaper…

"Duh! Who in the fashion business does not know about that store…" he said, while reading the sports section of the NY Times.

"They are opening a new store in Seoul, and they arranged a meeting for me and Hye Kyo. We were supposed to meet in Vietnam, but Charlotte said she can’t fly there so she sent me a ticket to NY and had me fly here instead…so I’m here now, having coffee with you" trying to distract JiHoon from his reading by throwing one of the table napkins…

"Aish!!! Stop it…" throwing the napkin back at him… "Cool, that’s cool… I wish I can be a LK Ambassador, I hear they give out really good lucrative deals" Jihoon said while looking over the rest of the newspaper splattered all over the table…

"Well, why don’t you tell her that?" Rain asked JiHoon…

"Tell what? Tell who what?" looking confused…

"Charlotte Fraser, I’m meeting her here." Rain told Jihoon…

"In Starbucks? You’re meeting one of the world’s richest in Starbucks? (laughing) Are you serious?" he asked Rain while he continued looking over the newspaper

"Yeah… I met her and her sister Katherine during the after party for Time Magazine at the Plaza Hotel, and they told me about their plans. I don’t see anything wrong meeting in Starbucks man, you and Eun Hye meet in Starbucks in Seoul all the time…" giving Jihoon a smile… "shut up man, she’s coming" pointing JiHoon at the lady about to enter the store…

Entering Starbucks is Charlotte Fraser, also known as the 12th richest person in the world, the CEO of FBC Software Group and co-owner of the LK Centre Worldwide, a business she shares with her sister Katherine. Although a certified businesswomen themselves, the Fraser sisters are also heiresses… their father is the 16th Duke of Wellington, who happens to own 48% of the land in Scotland…

"Oh my goodness, traffic is such a dull!!!" smiling both at the two JiHoon’s while settling on a sofa chair next to them… "I’m sorry to have kept you waiting" she told Jihoon while fixing her hair and getting comfortable…

"No worries, I saw an old friend of mine back in Korea, he has been keeping me company." Rain said to Charlotte and he started introducing JiHoon to her…

And to their surprise, Charlotte slightly screamed when she heard of his name!!!

"Oh my goodness!!! You are a splitting image of Prince Shin Goon from Princess Hours!" she smiled and apologize for the lost of sanity awhile back

JiHoon couldn’t believe that someone who’s rich and powerful like her actually knows who he is…so he smiled back and said "Actually, that’s because I am Prince Shin Goon"

Charlotte looked at Rain to confirm what JiHoon had just said, and as Rain smiled at her… she then turned back to JiHoon…

"Goody, I am glad to meet you JiHoon, it saves me the trouble of tracking you and Chaegyung in Korea." she smiled while taking her IPAQ in her Hermes handbag.

Both Rain and Jihoon couldn’t believe what they have just heard… and Rain asked Charlotte what she meant by it…

"Actually, I’m a fanatic of Princess Hours and FullHouse, that’s why I told my sister if ever we are opening a store in Seoul, I only want those characters to be the store ambassadors." she said while looking intently at her mobile phone…

"Wow…that’s cool…thanks for liking Princess Hours" JiHoon said…

Charlotte looked up at Jihoon and smiled, and she placed her hands on his shoulders and gave it a pat… "Like??? (laughing) I’m hopelessly hooked on those two shows… I was telling Rain over the phone how excited I was to see them together again, promoting a show that has been over for 2 years now… I really don’t see the need for them to do that… I mean, if he wanted to tell the world that they are a couple, they should just said it out loud right…" she said while giving a wink to Rain…

JiHoon laughed at her statement, that made Rain absolutely uncomfortable…

"Hey…shut up!!!" throwing another a piece of the NY times on him…

"Arasso…" Jihoon said with a smile…

"Anyway, so JiHoon, do you want to hear what I am offering to Rain and Hye Kyo so you can call Chaegyung and tell her about it…" she told him while she took some papers out of her bag…

"Eun Hye!…her name is Eun Hye…" he told her and gave her a faint smile, and Rain sensed that theres a note of sadness when he said her name…so he spoke to Charlotte immediately…

"Sure, I can’t wait to hear it…" Rain told Charlotte while flashing his pearly white teeth…

"Oh okay…" browsing through the folder, she reads it then told both guys what they should be expecting from them…

"As an LK Store Ambassadors, you are going to be on the same level with Mischa Barton, Ben McKenzie, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Sarah Jessica Parker, Josh Hartnett and Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen…coz they are the few stellar list of LK Centre…" she looked at both JiHoon and Rain who was already listening intently to what she was saying… "okay, moving on… we give the same salary to everyone, so you guys are no exeption… $5 million per year, renewable contract, with commission if you prove your face can sell, and we will give you another $100k for a bling car of your choice, you will have access together with our VIP clients to the store’s company plane, company yacht and company resort in Maldives…" smiling to herself while watching both JiHoon’s jaws literally drops…

"Plus…as a token of our appreciation, we would also give you a shopping allowance of $300k per year, after you reached the limit, I’m afraid you have to be paying for your purchases." as she finished, she asked for water and caught her breath…

JiHoon and Rain could only look at each other…

"Okay, I’ve said what I needed to say… I’ll give you time to think about it" taking some papers and handling them to Jihoon and Rain… "I need to fly to Boston in 30 minutes, so if you have any further questions, call I disagreeistant Jenny and give her your number…I will be calling you, not the other way around.l" smiling at them…

As she stood up, she shook hands with both JiHoon and Rain… she was about to leave Starbucks when she forgot to asked something from JiHoon…

"Oh yeah, JiHoon, could you be a sweetheart and call Eun Hye…see I got her name right this time…(smiling) and tell her that I need to speak to her about a possible contract…the Seoul store would be opening within 4 months, and I want to have a presscon before that… Or you can just give me her number… okay, gotta go…" then she was gone… hailing a yellow cab outside the store…

When Charlotte left, both JiHoon’s were still somewhat dumbfounded with what they just heard…

"Did you hear what she just offered to us?" JiHoon asked Rain who was seemed busy looking over the details of the LK contract.

"Oh man!!! I am glad I saw you… I owe you big time!" JiHoon said while patting Rain’s shoulders…

"Yah…. why didn’t you said you’ll give Eun Hye a call? the last time I saw her, she said you guys haven’t talked since Goong ended… what’s up with you…" Rain said while he continued reading the contract…

"Well…she’s been busy, she had another drama…" JiHoon avoided Rain’s face, and pretended to look around the store…

"Whatever man, you should grow up and throw that d**n pride of yours out of your system… or you’re really never going to have a chance with her…" he told him while finishing off his drink "Alright, I need to go, Hye Kyo might be calling the hotel any moment now, and if I don’t answer, she might think I’m fooling around and she would start to ask everyone she knows in NY to spy on me…" smiling and patting JiHoon on the shoulders before taking off…

"Arasso…. just text me when you’re going back to Korea…" he shouted at Rain…

As JiHoon headed back to his apartment, he looked at his mobile phone and started dialing Eun Hye’s number…

(Mobile phone ringing)

"Hello?" an unfamiliar female voice answered the phone

"How are you?" JiHoon asked still thinking of words to say

"I’m sorry but may I know who this is please" said the girl on the other line…

(What!!! thinking to himself! She forgotten all about me…) "I’m sorry, is this Eun Hye?" he finally asked…

"Oh no, this is her cousin Jane, Eun Hye’s asleep now…." said Jane… "Do you want me to wake her up!"

"No, its alright… I will just call her later"… said JiHoon

"Okay, but may I know who this is please, you’re number is not registered on her phone." she said and upon hearing this, his heart sank….

"I’m sorry, this is Joo JiHoon…. thank you Jane…"

"Okay will tell her…thanks…bye"

Line went dead….

As Jane turned off the phone, Eun Hye was standing up from the bed and gave her cousin a puzzled look…

"Who was that?" asked Eun Hye as she rubbed off her eyes….

"Some random guy name JiHoon…know him?" looking at him while she handed her phone over….

"What??? JiHoon called me" already getting excited with the thought that JiHoon called her, she rushed to her cousin…

"Whoa!" (surprised at the reaction of Eun Hye) Yah!!! Are you okay? I asked him if I should wake you up, he said he’ll call again."

"He said that? He said he’ll call? Did he say what time?" getting all excited…

"Okay Ms. 40 questions…no, he didn’t say what time nor when he will be calling again. May I know why the sudden reaction…"asked Jane…

"He’s the guy I am telling you about! He’s my Goong co star, the one who asked me for a date. But I turned him down, he thought it was because KJK… " said Eun Hye

"Oh…the hunk… I get it now…" said Jane and giving Eun Hye a smile…

"We haven’t talked to each other for the longest time now…" gushed Eun Hye while fixing her hair….

"But didn’t you say that you guys kissed and slept together in Macau. " said Jane…

"Yah!!! (Putting her hands on her ears!) Shut up… you make it sound like we did it." while she continued to brush her hair, she gave Jane a warning look…

"Honey, that’s almost the same…except that…" Eun Hye didn’t let Jane finished….

"Hey!!! I told you to shut up right…."

"Okay…i’m stopping now… whatever you say cousin dearest…" then Jane slowly walks out of Eun Hye’s bedroom…

Eun Hye took her mobile phone with her and headed back to her room… Once inside, she took a small box from her cabinet, and she took out the picture of her and JiHoon while filming Goong, and during their trip to Jeju Island.

"JiHoon, why did you call? Are you finally talking to me now? I really miss you. Please call me again. Please…" as Eun Hye silently plead on her mobile phone to ring again…

But she waited for almost 2 days, still no phone call.

Back in New York, JiHoon still couldn’t believe himself that he actually called her. It was a good thing that it was not Eun Hye who answered the phone.

"Aish!!! That was close. I wouldn’t be able to actually talk to her…I’d be tongue tied… What were you thinking… but… it really would have been nice to hear her voice again, I really do miss her." JiHoon muttering to himself as he closed the door to his apartment.

(Looking over Eun Hye’s photo that adorned his bedside table…) "I really miss you." he told himself….
